Claire Munns (they/them)

Peer Mental Health Worker

Claire is available on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons and evenings.

Who do I work with?

I work with people wherever they’re at in their journey. Whether you’re figuring things out for the first time, or have been navigating mental health stuff for a while. As a Peer Mental Health Worker, I draw on my own lived experience to connect with and support others, especially folks who want a space that feels real, non-judgemental, and grounded in mutual understanding.

What should you expect in session?

Expect a space that’s relaxed, affirming, and built around you. There’s no pressure to show up a certain way. Come as you are, whether that means talking things through, bouncing around ideas, learning practical tips, or just having a supportive, understanding chat. Claire always aims to make the space feel safe, validating, and empowering, and we’ll figure out what works best together. You’re not expected to change who you are to be supported here.

Who am I?

In their time outside of work, Claire loves getting lost in a good book, podcast, tv show or an excitable rant with a mate - whatever form of storytelling their brain can take on at that time. Simply put, they are fascinated by how different people think, and love delving deeply into ideas and thoughts. They also have a special interest in most things British comedy and stand-up - put them in front of any Taskmaster season and they are happy.
